The River Garden Cafe is nothing more than a simple timber built tea room situated on the banks of the river Esk amid a colourful garden centre. The décor and the food is basic. Tea and cakes are served from a self-service hatch in the corner. It’s all pretty functional. So why would we send you there? Because the setting is delightful. Come on a sunny day, sit on the river bank, watch the ducks and feed the sparrows.
