Dotty’s Vintage Tea Room, Staithes

We just love Trudie Ward’s fab vintage tearoom using all the lovely china cups and saucers she’s been collecting for years. There’s nothing vintage about her gleaming espresso machine though – it hisses and spits and delivers a terrific flat white – and you know what a coffee snob I am. Scones the size of elephant’s feet come from a local bakery and the cakes from a talented maker in Pickering.All this and you’re by the sea! What could be better?
