Just as we posted our blog about Sara Danesin’s charity dinner at the Dean Court on 29th June in aid of Jessie’s Fund, (see previous blog) the York based charity that helps children through music, in popped this picture with a note from Jessie’s mother Lesley Schatzberger:
‘Here’s a photo of a little girl who amazed all the staff at her school by being able to reach out and play the piano with our musicians. She isn’t able to walk or talk, and her hands are usually hugged into her body and fidgety. But the stimulation of the music gave her the motivation to reach and play the piano in a meaningful way, and then she could be part of a bigger musical experience.’
